Be Safe on the Ice and Be Prepared

With everyone getting antsy to get out on the hard deck just be safe...this is an excellent video and worth watching if you ice fish...you can never be too prepared IMHO. Be safe out there and we're going to wait a week to ten days before we venture out.

Yes, and today's snowstorm is going to insulate and slow ice formation plus have a negative effect on ice quality. I was hoping that Mantua would develop a good foundation of clear ice before it snowed. There might be hope for Hyrum as I expect that the warm wind before the storm broke up the skim ice that was there and maybe it can get a fresh solid freeze.
