fishing classes

i live in jackson missouri, does anyone know of any fishing classes or courses near us that I could take my son and myself and learn to be better fishermen? thanks for any help you can give!!

[fishin]B.A.S.S. used to have Bass University that pros taught a 3 day course at a local university. I don't know if they still have it.
