Well it ain't over till the fat lady sings.But I think I hear her clearing her throught.Anything can happen in this kind of thing.There may be a lot of folks getting in some last minute hard core fishing trips.My last two weekend trips have been flops. I have done about all I can do with what i have to work with . There is a canal north of my house with some pretty long gar in it but I have yet to get one to bite.They are hard headed when it comes to biting.Guess i better try a little harder. I hooked another Tarpon that was a bit bigger than this one but it jumped and threw the hook.

No matter who comes out on top , its been a lot of fun.

you guys got lucky , I had a gar grab hold of a 12 inch bass I was reeling in, if he had grabbed another 6 inches forward, well lets just say he would have broken my 8 pound test line.....

would have been nice to think I could have brought him in. killed the little bass though. two nasty gashes in the side 1 1/2 inch apart about 2 inches long and 1/2 inch deap. bout jerked the pole right out of my hand.

he didnt want the gill I put out for him, he wanted the bass I was reeling in on another line.

We are building a tribute page that will be posted on the site. It will list the winners and fish photos, Thank you all for participating. My brother in law informed me that he feels like he deserves a healthy portion of my prize due to him being the one who ran the camara ( took pics )on a few of my pics.LOL He is upset because he doesn't have the gumption to put worth the effort to particapate himself.I also think he is computer illiterate.But he would never admit it.LOL i might give him something out of the package.
