HOT Fishing Friday
#1
[cool]Didn't EVEN want to play with the amateurs on the lakes this weekend, so TubeBabe and I did a Friday afternooner. Temperature was over 100 when we launched, but the fishing was even hotter. Another trip where we both caught over 100 yellow bass and some cats. Lost a largie...with a "conservation release".

TubeBabe posted her report on the float tubing forum at: http://www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi?post=46279;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread

Speaking of hot!!! Friends and I decided to go out to Sand Wash in the Uintah Basin. Fish report, no fish, 2 crawdads and one bad sun burn!!! I learned my leason again of passing out on the beach and sleeping for 2 hrs in the sun. This will be a fun week, keeping the aloe companies in business!!! But water temp had to have been in the mid to upper 60's. But with no fish we did achieve objectives, and that is having a absolute blast for 3 days

[cool]Ya shoulda been on the Salt River. Just watched the early news and saw a whole lotta friendly people floating down the river, raft to raft to raft to raft. I'm guessing there were more than a few sunburns by the time they got out of the water, but I'll bet the scenery was better...than a couple of crawdads.
