Lot of stormin here in SoCal. but it looks like Sat. will be the only clear day on a three-day weekend.
I plan to hit the Castaic Lagoon early, and work the low dam area for red-ears. They are all over the reeds and that little cove on the end.
Using PM's and jointed minnow.
I like the pier for drop shot rigs, as it has a bit of a channel the trout drift through.
Might try walking down to the high dam and try for bass.

It was truly a great day! But, the 'goon was muddy, there was no bite, I tried my all, it was'nt right.
Definitely on for Piru or Pyramid with the boat.

Don't know if he is back from Hawaii yet but as long as he has his laptop along he is no further from the BFT as his keyboard. I like fishing the lower Sierras. Yeah. we left Hawaii, hit Cabo for a week and now in India.

Gulf of Mexico is next and then on to Brazil. [cool]
