Went to Blue Ridge and set in around 9 am. There was no wind in the morning and the lake was like glass. We went up the toccoa river to start the day and found it froze over. We didn't realize it untill we were already into the ice. So we went back into the lake. We were trying for some walleye and used some spoons, jigs, worms, spinners and even some skippies in the chance that Mr wiskers might be hungry. The temp in the lake was 44 deg and the river was 36 deg. But like they say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. It is absolutely beautiful up there. Will try again in March when it worms up a little.emoSun
