Stopped by yesterday,,,monday..and drove to the boat ramp to check on the ice...There is about 6-10 ft of open water off the ramp is all...still pretty iced up. Looks like the north will be awhile before open water.

I checked out the south marina inlet Sunday and it is still letting a lot of water into willard.

I haven't been to the outlet of Willard but it would seem very unlikely, in my opinion, that they would be letting any water out of the inlet if they plan on filling it up this year. I know they are required by law to let a certain amount out in the SW corner because of the wildlife management area but that should be it. WH2

Not sure if they are letting any out. Most likey not any this early in the year, no need to yet.

The water is rising at about 1 foot every two weeks. I've been measuring it from the middle of the docks in N marina. The depth in mid January was 4.5 feet. It is now about 7 feet. Another 7 feet or so and it will be 100 percent again!
