One of my favorite lures of all time! It catches everything and I mean everything! I have had better luck on the smaller sizes for bass, panfish, and chain pickerel. But I have caught brown trout on the larger models while trolling.

I've caught bass on the perch colored ones before. Try jerking it as you retrieve to give it the effect of a wounded fish.

When none of the lures that usually work for a specific water or condition are working I'll always try my black/brown broken back minnow. And it often produces a few when nothing else is working.

J 7 original Floater Rapala..Your meathod is exactly how I caught this fish..
We call it bobbing, and even name the lure Bob
Yea you kinda twitch it "jerk it" or bob is as we call it cause the lure kinda just bobs up and down.
Sometimes the fish e'll just sit there under the lure and as soon as you twitch it.. you got he![Wink]

Trolling this lure for big fish also works well

p.s. sorry no video..kills me too[frown]

Not big on hard plastics, but Rapala is about the only brand I use for them. I like the jointed for bass. Seem to work pretty good.
