Time to upgrade

I've been finshing for awhile. I've have never really paid much attention to what I buy to fish with. Now I have the money and time to put a little more thought my equipment.

I guess my question is what should I get? I fish only freshwater. I go for bass, crappie, and catfish. What rod&reel? What tackle to use?

I've been pretty much a hook and worm fisher, with the occasional bobber use.

I have a light duty set up. which i use for trout. On that I have 6 pound test. Then I have a medium set up with 12 pound test for bass. That's basically all i fish with.
