Doubt that will work out for you as the three species that you mentioned are in different weight categories. Crappies are in the 1 lb range, bass several lbs and cats can be way up there. One wants a rod that can feel the take yet have enough beef to retrieve the catch without putting due stress on it. While I am strictly into fly fishing now, I still have several spinning rods of different wts and a couple of bait casters. Never did have just one rod for everything. [/size][/#008000][/font]
