I will be staying in NE shelby co the second week of june on a lake called timberwood lake (in other places i've seen it called backbone creek) I was just wondering how the fishing is at this time of year, and any advice or hints would be appreciated. Thanks

I wished I could give you a fresh report, I do have people down that way but I dont know if I will hear from them any time soon.

typicaly June is a good month for fishing. My grampa pulled out a cat that was every bit 150 pounds and nearly 7 feet long in the month of june, " 60 years ago".

I know my unkle used to do a lot of trout fishing there, well he used to put out trout lines, as to weather or not he cought fish was debatable... Cuz he was known to drown his worms more ways than one... [laugh]

If I hear something fresh I will mosts cirtainly post a reply here for ya...
