Michigan Steelhead Fishing Reports
#1
The Grand sounds like it's getting better , it was starting off 2 weeks ago then it got pretty muddy from the run-off and is now clearing up a bit . Clairity of a cup of tea right now but several hook-ups reported .

Manistee is doing well in the lower sections of the river .

Flatrock is getting off to a good start , the water is a little high, slightly stained , but if you fish above the small dam (walk bridge ) you shouldn't have to fight the fish in too stiff of a curent .

Pentwater is doing pretty good .

Nothing on the Au Sable as far as reports but I'll call up there tomorow for the info .

I could use a little first hand reports if anyone has been out .
Thanks !

A co-worker of mine hit the Manistee on sunday and didn't do too well .
His group fished the coffer , tonk and rainbow bend and came back virgins .
He said action was very slow yesterday , never seen one fish landed by anyone .
