Visiting from TX
#1
I came with my husband to Baltimore for a conference. We're staying in the inner harbor, and we have rental car until tomorrow mid-morning.

He's a big largemouth bass guy, but loves catching most anything (except pesky mud cats that appear in city ponds)... and has a dream of catching a fish in all 50 states. To support that, I'm trying to figure out where would be good to go.

We brought light tackle, so I guess we'd target anything from sunfish to bass or trout whatever!

We're not opposed to driving a bit... have to admit that we're not really the city type.

Are the state parks any good? Do you have to have a license to fish in MD state parks?

Suggestions?

THANKS! [Image: happy.gif]

You can get day or week fishing license there.

Gunpowder State Park is a good place to fish. There is a small stream that runs through the whole park. You can catch Trout in there with your light gear.[cool]
