Well it was overcast and rainy but the conditions proved to work out really well for me. Had my best day on the water ever and caught my pb LM that went right at 8.3 lbs. I was fishing solo today and thank the lord there were some crappie fishermen fishing the same dock I was at, they happened to have a net and scales and there was no boat flipping this hawg so they came to the rescue. Anyhow, flipped docks near the covenant cove area with a pumpkin football head jig in 1-4 feet of water. Don't know if I just got lucky, or if the big fish had started moving up, but needless to say, it was awesome and I think I have a new favorite lake. Enjoy the pics and hope to get back down to that pig hole I found. Best 5 went right at 21 lbs.
