For my Janis Legzdins group from Latvia, aboard the "Release" with Capt. Nico the figures for their first three days are: 128-102-32. Not bad for a group of trout fishermen - doing their own hooking first time on circle hooks! They are going to Tikal for a couple of days, then back fishing on the "Release" for three more days. So, I will have another report for this group later this week.

Release 35-30-19 – with Al’s Latvia group (6th day)

For the 2nd leg of the Legzdins trip, the figures were 108-88-40 + 1 on fly
For their 6 day total …. 236-190-72 + 2 on fly

Capt. Erik continues - "Fishing is slowing down and the conventional anglers are doing much better. Fly fishing down here is a learning experience, so numbers don’t mean much".
