4-9-09 nelson lake

Went out today just to shore fish for a few hours and checked out the water levels. The lake looks great! I couldn't believe how much water there was. I can't wait to be fishing the lake all the way around.
Today I only caught a couple bass with rattle traps but a friend of mine was catching crappie after crappie on minnows.
A bit chilly though with the wind!

you should see it now! with all the creek running again it is going up some more again! crazy but it is messing everything up fishing wise again. im sticking to the river for a week or so been killing the walleyes and some big trout too.
