We hit the Nell on monday, the water had warmed up a little from 37 to 40 but all we could get was two browns at 22 to 23" had two other fish on but they came unhooked...

As soon as this weather gets out the fishing should get on track...

You think it will be worth a shot next weekend for Bass? Looks like sunny and 60's starting on Saturday and holding for the rest of the week. Finally.

Think May for bass. A few runts may be caught, but mostly its time for big browns.

Go in the afternoon and nothing beats a white Rapala Slash bait; twitch, twitch, rip, then pause, repeat often. Will catch both species......

This year the bass are slower, cause of how low the water is and all the storms we are getting now...In years past I have got more bass over 20" then I have this year so far but the year is young....

Thanks for the info, guys.
I'm just impatient for some local bass fishing. Saint George is a bit of a drive for a weekend trip.
