Anchor Buddy
#1
Signed up to fish the Buckboard Toruney in June and was thinking of the easiest way to camp on the beach, not launch and retrieve the boat daily and not have my boat on the beach getting the sand & gravel grind on my bow.

So I purchased the Anchor Buddy at Sportsman's yesterday for $24.99. This will allow me to have my boat anchored slightly off-shore and not have to worry about it being beat on the shoreline by wave after wave.....

Have any of you used the Anchor Buddy?
Got any feedback about using it?

Thanks!!!

Sounds like a good idea.

Looks like a good idea as long as the anchor does not break free in big waves. If no one responds with any first hand info, we would like to hear how it goes when you use it while your camping at the Gorge.

I have used the anchor buddy for several years. We do a reunion each year at Jordanelle and I anchor the boat in the campsite. With the wind up there, it works great to have it anchored off shore. You just pull it in when you want to go. I have a float on mine so i just unhook it when I go out and then hook it back up when returning.

Works Great on my 21' center console boat.
