My name is Brad, and I am from Baltimore, Md. The largemouth is just starting to get active here. (and I mean the bass, not the wife lol)

hiya mdb.. since DR beat me to the Maryland link Ill ask the next obvious question and that is what type of fishing (bait, spin, fly) do you prefer when chasing those LMB...

Hey there mac...

No fly for me. I usually set the boys up with a minnow and bobber while I work the structure with soft plastics and lures. In the ponds I stay on bank but when I go out in the creeks off of the bay I go in the boat. Been great in my main pond so far but the creeks and rivers have been kinda slow. The water is just starting to warm up. I never have had great luck in cooler water but haven't got the skunk yet this year lol.

I'm glad I found this forum. Its nice to shoot the breeze with fellow anglers!
