Newbie Here..

Hello everyone, I just was up in Portsmouth NH taking the Boaters education saftey course, so I can fish Winni and other lakes this year like Winnisquam, New Found, Etc. I am very excited to try fishing in the spring and summer on those lakes rather than Ice fishing, though I must say I miss the ice fishing season. My question to all you NH guys and I will soon be moving to NH and I already put a call in to my wifes family who lives up there and her uncle who fishes on an everyday basis is, #1 If you don't mind sharing your techniques I understand, but what is the best Techniques to use on Winni, New Found, and Winnisquam when fishing for Lakers or Salmon? Around my area is the Quabbin Res. and we use Dave Davis trolling rigs off of the down rigger and hook up a shiner ready 3 ft flurocarbon leader with a circle hook off of the Dave Davis rig and we do pretty well catching the lakers.

Any ideas, thoughts or even experiences you have had fishing on those lakes over the years, I would love if you all would be willing to share your techniques and stories. From one fisherman to the next I thank you all your knowledge.
