River Flows 9,000 cfs. am peaking to 17,500 cfs. pm.
Temperature: lows 30's am to 50's pm.
Best Bet: 1/4 oz. jigs & weighted wooley buggers.

Fall Fishing is Excellent

Currently we are still pre-spawn with fish staying in deeper water. I feel the fish are late in spawining this year due to the unusual summer low flows. Bigger fish want bigger flys and that fly needs to pass right in front of them. Fish big, fish deep and experiment with flys. Best flys: "AmbasSador's Don King", also brown and green maribou wooley buggers, black & green weighted skunks. For drys, light cahills with a size #22 griffiths nat - 12'' below - 7x tippett.

Spin fisherman are having great success with a 1/4 oz. black and orange jig in main channels.

Bill McBurney
AmbasSador Guide Services, Inc.
Lees Ferry & Lake Powell
www.ambasSadorguides.com
800.256.7596
judyf@ambasSadorguides.com
