Lurked a bit and finally decided to join. Avid salt water fisherman but love to also fish more of the fresh. I'm sure i'll enjoy being here.

Just picked up a Curado 300e to help me with the fresh...Any suggestions for a stick to match?

Hi Mac,

I fish Southern California waters from Santa Cruz to the Southern parts of San Diego, but usually Catalina Island. Currently, I'm on the hunt for "the ghost" aka white sea bass and waiting for the water here to warm up for tuna!!. Also, the 'cuda is currently WFO!!...Z

Hi DR,

Thx! I'm looking into one of the 'lighter' type rods like the Terramar's and such. I'll be primarily fishing for bass (LMB and Stripers) and whatever I can find in the local fresh. I do have to try the fly...I have a few buddies who swear by it. []
