we are heading up to the gorge for some macs. then we are going to spend a day on the green just below the damn. fly fishing

Trout seem to prefer cicadas to all other foods, when they are available. A San Juan worm might generate some interest too. Yes, Capt Steve is a member of BFT and I have a few friends that have been out with him, great guy, really knows the lake. The Utah board also has a fly fishing section, (separate from the main FF board), they can give you some up to date conditions and what to use on the river if your interested here is a link to that board.
