WATERBURY, VT -- Join Pickett Hill Guide Service , the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department, and Vermont Outdoors Woman for a Women's Intro to Ice Fishing, Saturday, February 16th, 2008 on Lake Bomoseen in Castleton, Vermont.
Learn about how to bait and catch several types of fish, how to make your own Champlain Jack Ice fishing tip-up and leave with many more tips from seasoned winter fishing guides.
Times: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Materials and lunch provided, $25 suggested donation to Vermont Outdoors Woman. Participating in a Lets Go Fishing program does not require a Vermont fishing license. Participants should meet at the Edward Kehoe Conservation Education Center on Point of Pines Road, Bomoseen. Please be prepared for cold weather conditions.
