[center]EXCEL BOATS OPENS NEW, STATE-OF-ART MANUFACTURING FACILITY
With life more demanding than ever, recreational family time is often sacrificed. Spending quality time with family members is the inspiration behind the new Excel Boat Company and the boats they manufacture. Whether it’s fishing with your family, duck hunting with buddies or spending a leisurely summer evening on the water, Excel strives to make every boating experience more memorable. Every feature of an Excel boat is designed around safety, convenience and performance; allowing an Excel owner a more enjoyable boating experience and the ability to make the most of valuable family-time.
The new Excel Boat Company evolved from the rubble and total devastation of a deadly F4 tornado. In February, 2008 Rivertrail Boat Company that built the line of Excel Boats was leveled and Rivertrail subsequently went out of business. In 2009 a new company, Excel Boats Company, was established. The Excel Boat Company is located in Mountain View, Arkansas, approximately 75 miles north of Little Rock. The manufacturing company is managed by Tim Scott, Vice President of Manufacturing, original founder of the Excel Boat product line and former employee of Xpress, an aluminum boat manufacturing company. The new state-of-art boat manufacturing facility produces a full line of solidly welded aluminum hunting and fishing boats ranging in length from 14 to 20 feet. Models include the Shallow Water Series, Sport Utility boats, center console Bay boats, Crappie craft and sleek and fast Bass boats. “Our skilled craftsman will build you the best combination of speed, turning performance, handling, and riding comfort,” says Tim Scott. “And as expected, we will back up every boat with our performance warranty.”
Excel boats are loaded with well thought out features, ruggedness built throughout and exceptional value. The Shallow Water Series features a smooth hull and triple tapered chime to provide access for hunters and fisherman in shallow, stump, rock and weed infested waters. In such situations a slippery smooth hull dramatically outperforms a traditional modified “V” while the tapered chime will roll off stumps, logs and provide less resistance. At the same time, 24” sides will make outdoorsman equally as comfortable in open, rough water. Similar attention to detail and performance-minded features can be found on every Excel boat model such as a high performance Pad hull on Bass and Sport series boats and the quick Viper™ hull on Bay Boats. The standard options and attention to detail found on every Excel boat will make the most of any outdoor adventure or leisurely boat ride.
