Evinrude 100th Anniversary Tour Mobile Museum - Plattsburgh, July 11-12
#1
Ole Evinrude invented the motorized boating industry as we know it today, in 1909, with the creation of the first commercially successful outboard engine. Thanks to constant innovations like the E-TEC®, BRP/Evinrude® is celebrating 100 years of reinventing boating. We’re able to experience the thrill of more quality time on the water, just as boaters did in Ole’s time. Of course, the Evinrude we know now provides a more powerful, fuel efficient and hands-off solution for boaters. Be sure to check out the Evinrude 100th Anniversary Tour mobile museum, which celebrates the invention and century-long history of the outboard engine and tells the tale of an iconic brand, Evinrude. The 53-foot mobile exhibit includes vintage and contemporary outboard engines, a one-hundred-year history of the outboard engine and other artifacts. The museum is free and will be open to the public during the FLW Tournament- Lake Champlain at the Plattsburgh State Field House on Saturday, July 11, noon – 4 p.m. and Sunday, July 12, noon – 4 p.m.
