Tuna balls

I just got back from salmon fishing and we used some tuna balls i was thinking these would work great for catfish. has anyone tried them or any other baits in spawn bags?

I dont think I would tuna fish to catch cat fish its just wrong.
I am sure it would work but too each his own.
