We started out with some topwater action throwing buzzbaits,pop r,frog,etc.Had two keepers and a double before 6:30 so we felt pretty good right off the bat.I picked up the powerworm first few casts had a really good bite set the hook and broke him off emoScratch 17#fluro,probably one of the best bites i had all day.Anyway did that till 9:30 or so and had our limit early.Now it was time to find one that would make a difference,never happened!run up river and tried a ledge where Tommy(basspro420)and i had caught some decent fish last weekend but couldnt get anything going.Came back down to where we started and caught a few more but they where 14 3/4 in.That wrapped us up,had a good time on a tuff day ended up 2nd place,which was hard to believe with 7.74#.Good meeting everybody and look forward to doin it again in the future!
