One thing you are going to love about Arkansas is the fact that there are thousands of little farm ponds all over Arkansas. Most of them are loaded with huge bass and bluegill as well as Crappie.

You're moving to an area very close to the Ozarks so you will be lucky enough to get in some seasonal trout fishing over there too which is excellent in Arkansas!

If you need any advice about some secret spots around AR let me know and I'll try to email you some specifics but don't like to post them online for the public.

There are some places within a few hours to 5 hours drive from where you are living that blue catfish over 100lbs are caught regularly but most of these spots are kept pretty secret.
