bass tournament fishing

next year i'm going to try to enter some bass fishing tournaments but i know anything about the rules, costs and where to start. If someone could please help me out that would be great and btw i live in nebraska and thats where i'm going to enter into tournaments

I would check to see if there are any local clubs in your area and start fishing tournaments with them. Once you see how they do it then you could branch out and fish the bigger tourneys. What is nice about club tourneys are your not putting out a lot of money to fish them. Our club charges $10 for entry and two option pots of $10 each for big fish and most total weight. Most big tourneys charge $200 to $500 if you get in all their option pots.
