Can anyone give any info on (bass bite, lures etc.) for a late October fishing trip to Qail Creek and Sand Hollow reservoirs in Utah.

Here is a link to the DWR fishing reports. Also check out the utah board. There is usually someone there that can help as well.

Fish slow-rainbow trout swimbaits near the dam and dark colored tubes. Try draggin' a tube on the flats in 15'+. The coldfront that is coming through might have messed up things a bit but at the same time it may trigger the feed bag. Something you'll just have to find out for yourself [Wink]
A dropshot might work also, LFT lures Zig-Zags work awesome wacky rigged on a dropshot and don't forget your jigs.

Looks like I'll have to use that info next time I'm out here. We ended up fishing Mead instead. Thanks a lot. Boy, the ramp situation on Mead is really a mess. You're trying to launch, and they're pouring concrete to extend the ramps. Traffic to get on the water is slow, with one boat going in at a time. I can remember when we launched four or five at a time here. I am praying to the water gods to send Mead what they need to get back on track. I guess I can always go to Utah.............Thanks again f4f. I sent a few pictures from the Mead trip.....
