Cuyamaca on the fly
#1
I have been doing some reading on Cuyamaca reserv.
It looks like a very nice place to fly fish and/or float tube.
Only bad thing- 180F float tube power wash[frown]
Did anyone fish there or even been there?

Never been there. I keep thinking I am going to go but never get around to it.

It is suppose to be a good lake to fly fish from shore as it has casting room around a large part of the lake and the deepest part is like 10ft deep. The 180 degree spraying of the tube. I doubt it can do any damage. The spray will be cooling off quickly. I doubt the tube even gets to 100 degree.

Man, you live in San Diego. There is some very good fly
fishing for bass/bluegill on many of the reservoirs and
many are float tube friendly.
I wish I lived in SD.[Smile]
