I found it and it's not somewhere you really want to try for the first time in the dark .
After figuring out what the fish wanted I hooked 7 , landed 4 in just under 3 hours.
Well worth the "walk" in [bobhappy].

glad you found it and had succes..now you have a new secret spot..we always used spawn either bottom fishing with slip sinker or drifting under bobber..what did you find worked best..if you go there in mid to late november it will be full of steelhead..did you get all salmon..

nope I didn't count the dogfish that i'm sorry to say did not survive the fight[Image: happy.gif].

Slip bobber set-up with Gypsey moth larva on a single egg hook ( one extra barb on the shank of the hook ).

I found the tent full of larva just a couple feet off the roadside , didn't have any wax worms and decided to give them a try .
Our brookies love them too .

WHAT KIND OF FISH DID YOU CATCH..besides the dogfish,,were they salmon

funny thing is they line up at the bridge at the mouth of the river ..and you can be at the barrel hole all by yourself..kind of nice..probly should of gone with you..sat home all last weekend..
