any where along the drop off, they are getting ready to put on the feed bag,

This time of year, I like a big fat black cricket under a bobber or end of a fly line on a number six hook. eagle claw, octopus work great.

Lake Hopatcong is a good place or monksville reservoir I use a Berkley power worm either texas rigged or carolina rigged color is your choice I use motor oil and tequila sunrise colors I have caught my biggest Bass on these if you are looking for striped bass you can hit any beach with fresh clams as your bait or try a party boat they supply the bait but the party boats will cost you $55 for the trip and an extra $5 for the big fish pool if you want to get in Good luck
