Blind Lake (Boulder) 7-5-03
#1
Great place to get away from the crowds on the busy weekend. The fish were fairly active all morning but we didn't figure out what they were taking (brown buggers) until about noon when the wind came up and blew us off the lake. Possibly the prettiest lake on the Boulder Mountain. We caught a couple of 16 inchers, brook and a cutt but no sign of the big splake.

Nice report, thank you for sharing. We used to catch a lot of splake at Blind Lake, but always through the ice. They tend to be on the bottom in very deep water there. I was with the fellow that got the first record Utah splake there (2.4 pounds Dave Genge). Beautiful lake.

Good Fishing, Kayote
