I'm heading to Destin, Florida for a private charter, two day trip, October 14-15th. Anyone in the area care to join us, send me an email. The fishing rodeo will be going on and some major cash and prizes are up for grabs. The boat fishes 88, but I only take a maximum of 25, which makes for a better trip. We are car pooling down from Tennessee and traveling through Alabama if anyone needs a ride. All bait, license, rodeo entry and tackle furnished and as usual, it's a co-ed trip (women are welcome..lol) Cost is $225 per person. Hi Mike,<br>Weather turned bad with rough sea's and high winds, so the trip was canceled. I decided to go on down and fish the Pier..good decision! We put over 30 Black Tip Sharks on the Pier in one day (and that is considering there is a one shark per day limit) King and Spanish Mackerel were running as were Bluefish (1-4 lb class, norm for the Gulf) Bonita and Ladyfish kept things interesting, a few BIG Redfish (had to release all of them due to slot limit of 18"-27" and all of these were over 30"-35". Hello Ghost,<br>Sorry to hear about the weather but it sounds like it all worked out ok after all. What a great day on the pier!
