spring steelhead

hello im fairly new to steelhead fishing ive fished them off the lighthouse in ludington in the fall .then i was tight lining spawn bags .but now im want to fish them in the p.m.(pere marquette river) this spring but im not sure what to use or where on the river togo if any one has any info it would be greatly apreciated thank you

Man , that's one big river system .
I fish the P.M., learned quite a few spots exploring on my own and have them marked on a map up in the attic , it will be a couple weeks before I dig that stuff out .
I camp down in pentwater during the summer weekends ,we should hook up and hit a few of the spots , good producing holes that i've never seen anyone else at .
Are you new to the ludington area ?
