WFN Green with Emmanuel Belliveau Premieres Tonight

DENVER, COLORADO - WFN: World Fishing Network, North America's only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network, today announced the premiere episode of its new original productionWFN Green with Emmanuel Belliveau, will debut on Friday, January 15 at 7:30 pm ET. The series, which focuses upon important conservation issues, will air every Friday at 7:30 pm ET for 10-weeks as a lead-in to WFN's World Fishing Friday theme night.

WFN Green examines environmental stories pertinent to the fishing industry. With a focus on green companies, personalities and products, host Emmanuel Belliveau exposes viewers to important conservation stories and the people working to make a difference in the both the commercial and recreational fishing industries throughout North America.

The stories covered in the January 15th episode include:

* A profile of Oceana as this week's Green Organization. Based in Washington DC, Oceana is dedicated to the protection and conservation of the world's oceans. Actor and activist Ted Danson is among their board members.

* Interview with John Rowley of Humber Boats, inventor of a solar-powered fishing boat, the Humber Foton.<br />
* WFN examines the decline in the health of the Chesapeake Bay, the largest estuary in the United States, and the massive effort being launched by President Obama to restore the once-great ecosystem to its former state.<br />
* The first of 10 weekly GreenTackle.com Green Gear product showcases. The first product showcase will profile the SAFE Angling Kit by Recycled Fish (a great starter product for anglers looking to become more environmentally-conscious).

In addition to hosting WFN Green, Belliveau focuses his environmental and conservation energy on the design business he runs that specializes in sustainable green renovation projects. His ability to combine a passion for the outdoors and knack for recycling dated objects into modern classics landed him a successful television career, first as a co-host of HGTV's My Parents' House and later as the host of World's Greenest Homes on Discovery Planet Green.

WFN's singular focus is serving North America's 60 million anglers with a network schedule that is dedicated to all things fishing - including 10 original series.
