Fishing Alaska
#1
Another mostly clear day here on the Little Susitna River in Houston Alaska. Just came up the river from checking some beaver traps and there are a lot more open holes in the river so if your going to try taking your snow machine on the ice be careful. There's a few open stretches in the river between Nancy Lake Creek and my house here in Houston to try a drift for Alaska Rainbow Trout.

It won't be long before we can get a boat out and start looking for a early King Salmon. We'll start fishing for Alaska Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden and Arctic Grayling out of Talkeetna Alaska by the first of May. So if your looking to book a fishing trip for Rainbow Trout or King Salmon you may want to do so soon, we don't have many seats left.

[Image: spacer.gif]Alaska Salmon Fishing / Rainbow Trout FishingSalmon fishing in Alaska this year is going to be above average according to the Alaska Department of Fish & Game predictions. So the Alaska King Salmon Fishing should be better in 2010. Also the Silver salmon fishing in Alaska will be better on the Little Susitna River, Deshka River and the Talkeetna Rivers. We'll be Starting to Fly Fish and Spin Fish for big Rainbow Trout as soon as the ice goes out, so give us a call and book a Spring Rainbow Fishing Trip or King salmon fishing trip. We are running a couple of big discounts so don't miss out on some good fishing in Alaska.
