PUEBLO, Colo. - The Colorado Division of Wildlife is looking for volunteers to help clean up the area around Runyon Lake on Saturday, May 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
May 15 is National River Cleanup Day, and cleanup projects are planned by several organizations at multiple locations along the Arkansas River during May.
"We decided to concentrate on Runyon because it is a high use area," said Casey Hibbs of the DOW.
"Anyone interested in joining us should plan to bring a sturdy pair of work gloves and dress appropriately for the weather," he said.
