Fishing Opportunities in Local Lakes

The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission stocks fish in several local lakes and ponds. I'm sure there are similar programs in other states. They stock trout in the winter and catfish in the summer in a small lake about 2 miles from my house. I took one of my sons there yesterday, and we caught a small catfish. That's a great thing about kids...it doesn't have to be big--they're just happy to catch a fish!

AZ has stocking every other week for urban and for state it's once a month[fishin]
and yah they happy just to get a fish [:p]
