I am trying to set up a weekend of saltwater fishing with my son-in-law. ( His first saltwater fishing experience)
I will trailer my little19' i/o cutty from Phoenix. It's already a 5 hour drive, so I don't need to add more drive time unless there is a good reason. I've fished Catalina before, but that was in a bigger boat. I don't think I want to risk that kind of a run in the 19'er. Of course I don't care what the target fish is - just big and good to eat! [sly]
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go and what to target?
