Rockport 6/20/2010
#1
Started early, and decided to try our luck again at Smith & Moorehouse. I had read online that the water was high and murkey due to runoff, but since we had such great luck on Memorial weekend, we decided to risk it. Report was right, and it was muddy. Fished for about 10 - 15 min, then decided to go down to Rockport to try our luck.

Located a spot on the western shoreline, and proceeded to reel in about 12 fish between the two of us. All rainbows were on average 14"-15" Only ended up keeping 6 (3 each), and let me tell you...the meat was the finest shade of orange/pink I have seen in a long time.

Even thought he wind was blowing, and the water was choppy, it was fast action using flouresent orange powerbait.
