Intro and fishing with children

Hey there! I'm new to the board and just found this state section.

We're going to be teaching our four year old son how to fish, and just his first setup and tackle box. Real stuff too, no plastic rods for us!

If you have any suggestions about good places for a beginner to learn to fish, I'd love to know. We're in the Barrington area.
