Blue Rainbow Trout
#1
An old article on blue rainbow trout, with some info on albino trout and golden rainbow trout. Interesting reading, found it searching for blue trout eggs since I bought some glow-in-the-dark trout beads, six packs, one in each color, I figure I'll grab a few and sell the rest to my sister who wants the beads for crafts.

I hope no one confuses "that" golden trout- with the real Golden trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss aguabonita).

But they always do, confuse O. m. aguabonita with those hybrid abominations. I tried to explain the difference to bait-chuckers two different times (no offense to non-fly-anglers) and gave up both times in despair.
Some people...

Blue trout would be really cool to see, though.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
By the way, when I was a kid I read in Chuck Yeager's autobiography that apparently he and his Airforce buddies were responsible for the initial introduction of the California Golden Trout into Idaho. An interesting bit o' trivia, I thought.
