my first brook trout!!!
#1
This is my first brook trout ever. Caught from a spring creek in Dane county Wisconsin. Fish hit a grey scud behind a foam beetle. It was a tough creek to fish being extremely skinny and completely surrounded by tall grass and brush.

Gotta love those brookies. They are so colorful, willing to bite, and live in some of the smallest streams!
Good catch!
