Bass fishing on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes is excellent at this time. Many <br>of the bigger Bass have moved into the shallows where there is heavy cover. <br>Look for areas of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 foot of water. Use Buzz Baits in dark <br>colors, first thing in the mornings. Black has been working best for me on <br>recent guide trips. <br><br>Cast your Buzz Bait across the front of the heavy cover. As the Buzz Bait is <br>about to hit the water, start reeling so that your Buzz Bait is moving <br>towards you when it hits the water instead of sinking. You want to work the <br>lure slowly as you can, so that it stays on the surface of the water without <br>sinking. <br><br>If you don't not get any hits with this method of fishing, then it is time to <br>get our your Flipping Stick. Crawfish in RedShad, Black and Blue, JuneBug <br>and Salt and Pepper are working best. On recent guide trips, my clients are <br>catching a lot of Bass from <br>3 1/2 to 7 pounds using these fishing methods. <br><br>Wild Shiner Fishing continues to be amazing. Fish the same areas as above. <br>If the cover is too thick for your shiners to swim actively, move to places <br>of 4 to 5 foot of water with Lily Pads and Hydrilla mixed together.
