Alaska's oldest fishing derby, Seward Silver Salmon Derby will take place this year from August 11 - 19. Cash and prizes worth $350,000.00 are awarded to winners of the derby. 1st place prize of $10,000.00 is awarded to the person who catches the largest fish of the derby.
