I fished the lake last week for four days in a row....lake was glass all week. Fishing was tough Tuesday and Wednesday. I had one bite each day. Thursday afternoon I hit the mother lode and caught around 12 fish in about an hour and a half. On Friday, I took the wife out thinking there would be a repeat of Thursday. That didn't work out very well. We had one bite between the two of us. Left in the early afternoon as we had to get back to town for the "Hunters Feed".
This time of year, the Madison Valley Rivers/Reservoirs are like having a National Park all to yourself. I saw 3 other boats fishing and 3 boats hunting ducks. All the duck hunters were off the water by 10am with their limit.
Tomorrow I may go over to Henry's.
