I'm excited about:

"Jensen Grove Pond in Blackfoot will go on salvage October 15 through the end of the year. Catchable trout stocked in the spring are running 17 inches. Lots of folks are catching limits."

Anyone know how the salvage fishing is? Also, does anyone know when Rigby lake will start getting low?

Sounds like the Burgess Canal should be turned off around Nov 1st, it sucks for me because I am flying to New York state from the 1st to the 7th. Maybe the water will be perfect by the time I get back.

To check the Fish and Game report for any area of the state go to:

October is almost over and I'm still waiting for an update from that area. Thanks, Fish and Game.

Jensen's grove does not look very low at all...in fact i think you can still launch a boat...don't think you can salvage fish much...haven't tried fishing it yet...Just did a drive by on the interstate!

Yeah, I went last night because it was fairly warm. I could see where the concrete for the inlet was under the water, and I hear there is a deep channel there from the water flow.

Fished for an hour or so with worms and marshmallows but didn't get any bites. True, not really salvage yet, but i guess if a person took a boat out they could drag some big snagging hooks back and forth. Guess we'll wait for it to get shut off and for the water level to actually go down some.

Don't sweat it. We haven't had a wolf update since June.
